How to Create A Campaign?

What is a Campaign?

A campaign is a set of ad groups that share some targeting criteria and other settings, and they are often used to organize categories of products or services that you offer.

  • Your Intouch Live account can have one or many ad campaigns running.
  • Each campaign consists of one or more ad groups.
  • Settings that you can set at the campaign level include language, location, scheduling, and more.
  • You can create separate ad campaigns to run ads in different locations or using different tags.

 

Note:

An ad group contains one or more ads (creatives) that share similar targets. Each of your campaigns is made up of one or more ad groups. Use ad groups to organize your ads by a common theme, such as the types of products or services you want to advertise. Example: An ad group of desserts can contain ads of ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, etc., and another ad group of beverages can contain ads of products like soda, juices, smoothies, etc. Those two ad groups could be part of a campaign called “Summer Time”, for instance. 

 

  1. Sign into your Intouch Live account.

 

 

  1. Hover over the “Content” tab on top of the page and choose “Promotions”.
  2. Press on “New Campaign”.

 

  1. For the Campaign Properties
  • Add a unique meaningful name for your campaign.
  • Add the start and end dates for this campaign under “Flight Dates”, or if you haven’t decided on the end date yet, just tick the “no end date” box underneath; this will keep your campaign running until you stop it manually- if needed.  

 

  1. Press “Continue” to move to the Ad Group Properties. 
  • Choose a name for your first ad group in this campaign.
  • Choose the flight dates (start & end dates).

 

  1.  Fill your “targeting” criteria by choosing from the following list of options. Note that there’s a scope dropdown with each targeting criteria that allows you to ‘include’ or ‘exclude’ certain options. 

Note:

In addition to reaching specific segments with your ads by including specific attributes, you can exclude unrelated, and therefore unprofitable, segments. By reaching only the segments that are relevant to your business, you can help reduce your costs and increase the likelihood that your ad will be displayed to the right customer, at the right time and place. 

  • For “Locations”, choose the countries and cities you want your ads to be displayed in (optional).
  • ForSite Tags, select the tags that combine common attributes related to your stores, where you want your ads to be displayed; e.g. outdoor, cashier, highway (optional).
  • For “Sites”, select the specific sites/branches that you want to display the ads at (optional).
  • For Screen Tags, select the screens that you want to display your ads on by choosing the tags that identify them; e.g. front-door, cashier, warehouse (optional).
  • From the “Schedule”, choose the specific days and times during which you want your ads to be displayed. You need to be careful here, making sure to exclude your closing hours and choose the suitable hours that match the ads; you wouldn’t want to display your coffee ad at night, for example (mandatory).

 

 

  1. Press the “Manage Creatives” button under the “Ads”
  • From the list of creatives shown- that have been previously uploaded- choose the creatives you want (images and videos). 
  • “Save”, then check all the data you’ve entered for this ad group. Note that you can add another ad group following the same steps. 

 

  1. If you don’t want to add another ad group, press “publish”. 

Now, you’re all set.
